What is Angular ?
Angular is a TypeScript based, open source web application framework led by the Angular Team at Google and by a community of individuals and corporations. Angular is a complete rewrite from the team which built AngularJS.
Angular was first introduced in year 2009, then the framework has gained huge traction over the years for eliminating unnecessary code and ensuring lighter & faster applications.
Angular helps to build interactive and dynamic Single Page Applications (SPAs) with its compelling features, which also includes templating, two-way binding, modularization, RESTful API handling, dependency injection, and AJAX handling.
The designers can use HTML as the template language and extend HTML syntax to easily convey the components of the application. There is no need to rely on third-party libraries to build dynamic applications with Angular.
The biggest advantage of Angular is that it is supported by Google and Google’s Long-Term Support (LTS). Google apps also use Angular framework and their team is very optimistic about Angular’s stability.
Angular applications are built by using TypeScript language, a superscript for JavaScript, which ensures the higher security as it supports the types such as primitives, interfaces, etc. It helps to catch and eliminate the errors early when writing the code or performing the maintenance tasks.
Angular uses the HTML to define the UI of the applications. HTML, when compared to JavaScript, is a less convoluted language. HTML is also a declarative and intuitive language.
With Angular, any additional getter and setter functions are not required. Since, every object it uses is POJO – Plain Old JavaScript Object, which enables object manipulation by providing all the conventional JavaScript functionalities. You can also remove or add properties from the objects, while looping over the objects when required.
